For over 21 years, California Custom Upholstery has set the gold standard for golf cart upholstery and interiors.
Founded by Gabriel Romo Sr. and proudly managed today by his son, Gabriel Romo Jr., we are a family-owned and operated business located in Palm Desert, California, and we proudly ship our custom work nationwide.
We specialize in custom golf cart seats, headliners, carpets, and full interiors for all makes and models. Whether you’re a golf cart owner, a major dealership, or a luxury resort, we bring unmatched quality and personalization to every build.
We use 100% virgin foam, sustainable textiles, and the latest design trends to deliver upholstery that’s as durable as it is stylish.
95% of our work is done by hand, while the remaining 5% is handled by CNC sewing machines for flawless stitch patterns and perfect fitment.
Every piece is custom-made to exact specifications — no shortcuts, no guesswork.
Visit our showroom in Palm Desert or order from anywhere in the country. For local customers, same-day service is available on select projects.
